    Frontenac Provincial Park

    Situated north of Kingston, Fronternac Provincial Park features 170km of often craggy trails. Rugged individuals may partake in some backcountry camping or hiking in this area of mixed forests and wildlife. Wilderness skills courses are available in winter and summer.

    Silver Lake Provincial Park

    This park is located near Perth and is an elongated body of water created by ancient glaciers. There is a long sandy beach and even a marsh, which visitors may traverse on a wooden boardwalk.

    Stewart Park
    Set behind Perth Town Hall on the banks of the Tay River, Stewart Park is filled with lush grass and splendid trees. The park is frequented by many through out the year, but is particularly popular during the Stewart Park Festival, which joins hundreds of music lovers together each summer.

    Rideau River Provincial Park

    This provincial parkland is situated along the banks of the Rideau River near the canal at Kemptville. It acts as the main waterway between Kingston and Ottawa. Here, visitors will discover maintained hiking trails, a golf course and beaches.

    Murphy's Point Provincial Park

    Murphy's Point Provincial Park provides visitors with both recreational pursuits and heritage education. Take a tour of a restored mica mine, view pioneer homesteads, swim, cross-country ski or boat. There are many camping options, including sites suitable for tents or trailers, as well as boat-in and canoe-in campsites.

    Sharbot Lake Provincial Park

    This provincial park encompasses shorelines of both Black and Sharbot lakes. It winds it way parallel to Highway 7 and offers excellent angling opportunities. Black Lake offers two sandy beaches.

    Bon Echo Provincial Park

    The captivating attraction of this southern Canadian Shield park is Bon Echo Rock, which rises 100 meters out of Mazinaw Lake for 1.5 kms. A boat tour can bring visitors close enough to see the 260 red-ochre pictographs painted by the Algonkians. Activities in the park include backcounty camping, canoeing, swimming and fishing.
