    Rideau Canal Museum
    Learn about the building of the Rideau Canal in the historic stone buildings of Woods Mills. The story is presented in mini theaters, through presentations, photos, displays, artifacts, and computerized games and quizzes.

    Lanark & District Museum

    Tools, clothing and other artifacts from the Lanark area are on display at this musuem, which is open from Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving. There are also various special exhibits such as the sports display, which includes vintage baseball uniforms and photographs.

    Smiths Falls Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario

    This museum was once a station for the Canadian Northern Railway and now houses steam and diesel locomotives on its ten acres along with rail paraphernalia such as old brakemen lanterns.

    The Perth Museum in Matheson House

    Filled with artifacts from the 1800s, The Perth Museum is set in Matheson House, now deemed a National Heritage Site. The house was built in the 1840's and was once the home of a Scottish merchant. Special events are regularly scheduled in the house and the courtyard. Open through out the year.
